Jacqueline graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Suny Stony Brook University in 2001. She attended Hofstra University School of Law to pursue a Juris Doctor degree from 2001-2002. She took a detour from law and later earned her first graduate degree with a Master of Science in Human Services in 2008 at Capella University. In 2015 Jacqueline earned a second graduate degree with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from a CACREP accredited program at Walden University. Before she became a licensed psychotherapist Jacqueline worked as a Direct Care Professional for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, Crisis Case Manager for individuals with co occurring disorders and a DUI/SSS Evaluator. Jacqueline completed a practicum and internship through Aspire Health Partners. Post graduating she worked as a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern at The Transition House’s male residential treatment facility. She has experience working with women, men, LGBTQIA, children, ex offenders, Veterans, Veteran dependents, survivors of domestic violence, survivors of sexual assault, clients struggling with mood disorders, personality disorders, anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders and outstanding psychosocial stressors. Happyville Counseling was created by Jacqueline as a representation that dreams do come true with perserverance.
